After we took the subway in the wrong direction for a couple of station we found this school where the kids had just been droped off in the typical buses.
Of course we had to visit Wall Street but hundreds of other people had the same idea. So I am saving up now to buy one of those appartments in a former bank building there!
Then we went to see the 9/11-Memorial where they were crazy about security checks and checking out ticket about five times in a row! The memorial is finished so far but not the museum and the new towers.
From there we had a long walk through lower Manhattan and passed by the Brooklyn Bridge, the city hall and some other smaller sights.
On the way to East Village for dinner and a night out we passed by Grand Central Station which is pretty impressive and just fun to watch whats going on there.
