Philadelphia I

After NYC, we went to Jenna & Oscar’s (a friend of Chris from back in NZ) and stayed there for the next day and then left on a daytrip to Philadelphia. There you could see a lot about the temporary capital of the USA and about its independence. We saw the independance hall and Liberty Bell. All the museums connected to the independence are free and very well made, so its worth a visit!

We also visited MacGillens Old Ale House which seemed oddly out of place in its surroundings.

The famous “LOVE Park”, although nothing but the LOVE sign is really lovely about this park. It could use some renovation!

In the evening we walked to the Art Gallerie where Rocky was filmed!

From the top of the stairs there you also have a nice view on the modern city center of Philadelphia.
