Last weekend on saturday it was time to go to the viñas to try chilean wine. So we went to Casablanca (a village between Valparaíso and Santiago) around which many of the areas viñas are located.
The first one we visited was Indómita:
After the first tasting we went on a optimistic walk “just across the street”, which we believed from a very approximate Lonely Planet map. It turned out to be well over an hour in the sun and the Chilean heat. But nevertheless we made it and even found a nice restaurant on the way where we had some great food and got a free bottle of wine with it!
After the lunch-break we visited a second viña called Quintay and then took the bus back for a yet another night out in Valparaíso.
