The daybus from Puno to Arequipa took two hours longer than expected and we arrived there just in time for sunset. We stayed in an hostal with a great view over Arequipa, from the roof we had the view on one side over the Monasterio Santa Catalina,
and on the other side we had the view over the Iglesa de San Francisco and all way to the mighty Vulcano Misti:
At night we went wandering through the beautiful streets of Arequipa and later to the Plaza de Armas.
Breakfast on our awesome terrace:
Here the comparison of the Plaza de Armas during the day.
The morning we spent visiting Arequipa breafly, mainly the market and some streets around the Plaza the Armas and then cought a bus towards Cabanaconde to arrive there in the evening and get ready for our two day hike into the Colca canyon.
